From One Camera to One Safety Net: Omnidirectional Security Redefines the Role of In-Vehicle Surveillance

Embodied robots, low-altitude security and resilient cities expanded the security boundary to a virtual-real fused omnidirectional space. Vehicles are shifting from monitored objects to active nodes in the safety network.

This edition debuted an embodied-intelligence core zone — security patrol, bomb disposal and intelligent inspection robots from iFlytek subsidiaries, Deep Robotics and Zhishen Tech — deepened low-altitude security with drone management and countermeasures, and sketched omnidirectional security via six-network new infrastructure, resilient cities and smart communities.

The Fact

A Global Procurement Lounge was set up for Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Central Asia, with 50-plus overseas buyers invited, pushing Chinese security from product export toward standard and solution export.

Our Take

When security becomes an omnidirectional proposition, the value of single-vehicle surveillance is no longer just recording accidents, but, as a mobile sensing node, feeding road conditions, driver status and surrounding events in real time into the city transport brain and emergency command system. V2X vehicle-road coordination and coordinated inspection of vehicles with drones and robots will upgrade the MDVR from a black box to a mobile sentinel.

The export angle is equally key. The expo's internationalization upgrade — Belt and Road, global procurement — shows Chinese security moving from product export toward standard and solution export. For in-vehicle surveillance vendors, markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, where infrastructure and compliance iterate fast, are easier increments to enter than mature markets. MDVR Insider will continue tracking this omnidirectional plus export dual main line.
